A scanner nearly always produces one page too many: a blank back, a separator sheet, a double feed. Leaving them in bloats the file and muddles the reading.
How it works
Drop your file on the page, or click to pick it from your folders.
Start the job. It runs inside your browser: nothing is sent to a server.
Download the result. No account, no watermark, no queue.
When this really helps
Clean up a scan
Blank backs and doubled sheets disappear.
Drop an appendix
The body of the document goes out without the attachments.
Remove a confidential page
A sensitive page is taken out before sending — and here it genuinely leaves the file.
What the conversion keeps, and what it loses
Working inside a browser comes with limits a hosted service does not have. Here they are in plain words, so you know what to expect before you start.
What is kept
- The exact quality of the pages you keep
- Selectable text
- The original order
- Page sizes
What is not carried over
- Bookmarks pointing at removed pages
- Filled form fields
- Electronic signatures
Worth knowing about the format
Unlike redacting in the editor, which covers things visually, deletion genuinely removes the page from the document: its content can no longer be recovered from the file you get.
Not the right tool?
Why it's free
Online converters receive your file on their servers, process it, then promise to delete it. Every document costs them computing time: that is why they charge, and why they cap file sizes.
Here, the work happens on your own computer. The page contains no server code: your document cannot be received, because it is never sent. So there is nothing to bill, nothing to cap, and nothing to delete afterwards. Cut your connection once the page has loaded — everything keeps working.
Frequently asked questions
Is the deleted content really gone?
Yes. The page is not copied into the document produced: its text and images are simply not there any more. That is the difference from the editor's redaction, which only covers.
Can I delete everything?
No: a PDF must keep at least one page. The tool stops you if your selection would leave nothing.
Is the rest of the document changed?
No, the pages you keep are copied identically: no recompression, no change of size.
Other tools
Edit the text in a PDF — Fix a line that is already written, even on a scanned document. This is the feature other services charge for, and the natural starting point when you need to retouch before converting.
