Convert a PowerPoint deck to PDF

Get a PDF from a deck, to circulate or print it without the layout shifting from one machine to another.

Free · no account · nothing uploaded

A deck sent as is rarely opens identically: missing fonts, a different version, animations that shift everything. As a PDF it reads anywhere, reads offline, and prints as a meeting handout.

How it works

Drop your file on the page, or click to pick it from your folders.

Start the job. It runs inside your browser: nothing is sent to a server.

Download the result. No account, no watermark, no queue.

When this really helps

Send a handout after a meeting

The recipient gets exactly what was projected.

Print a set of slides

One page per slide, ready to hand out.

Circulate without allowing edits

The content is frozen, text can no longer be moved.

What the conversion keeps, and what it loses

Working inside a browser comes with limits a hosted service does not have. Here they are in plain words, so you know what to expect before you start.

What is kept

  • One PDF page per slide, at the original size
  • Text in position, with its size and weight
  • Images placed in the slides
  • The slide order

What is not carried over

  • Animations and transitions
  • Shapes, arrows and decorative gradients
  • Backgrounds inherited from the master
  • Presenter notes

Need the other direction? PDF → PowerPoint does exactly the opposite, with the same guarantees.

Worth knowing about the format

The PDF keeps the exact format of your slides, whether 16:9 or 4:3. Each slide becomes a page, in presentation order.

Not the right tool?

Why it's free

Online converters receive your file on their servers, process it, then promise to delete it. Every document costs them computing time: that is why they charge, and why they cap file sizes.

Here, the work happens on your own computer. The page contains no server code: your document cannot be received, because it is never sent. So there is nothing to bill, nothing to cap, and nothing to delete afterwards. Cut your connection once the page has loaded — everything keeps working.

Frequently asked questions

My background has disappeared, why?

Decor inherited from the slide master is not carried over: only what belongs to each slide is. If the background matters, export your slides as images from PowerPoint and use the JPG to PDF tool.

Are my presentation fonts kept?

Text is rewritten in the PDF standard fonts. Size and position are respected, the exact letterforms are not: a strongly styled title will render differently.

What about the old .ppt format?

Only .pptx is handled. Save your presentation again as .pptx from PowerPoint, LibreOffice Impress or Google Slides.

Other tools

PDF → PowerPoint JPG → PDF Merge PDFs

Edit the text in a PDF — Fix a line that is already written, even on a scanned document. This is the feature other services charge for, and the natural starting point when you need to retouch before converting.
