Print, sign, scan, send back: the classic loop costs ten minutes, a printer and a degraded copy. Signing the file directly avoids all three.
How it works
Drop your file on the page, or click to pick it from your folders.
Start the job. It runs inside your browser: nothing is sent to a server.
Download the result. No account, no watermark, no queue.
When this really helps
Return a contract
The document goes back signed without touching a printer.
Approve a quote
An agreement is placed in seconds.
Sign an official form
The file you received goes back signed, at the same quality.
What the conversion keeps, and what it loses
Working inside a browser comes with limits a hosted service does not have. Here they are in plain words, so you know what to expect before you start.
What is kept
- All existing content, identically
- Selectable text
- Page quality
What is not carried over
- Nothing: the signature is simply added on top
Worth knowing about the format
This is a handwritten signature placed visually, like initials on paper. It is not a qualified electronic signature: that requires a certificate issued by a trusted provider and a dedicated infrastructure.
Not the right tool?
- Merge PDFs — Pour joindre le contrat signé à vos pièces justificatives.
- Add page numbers — Un dossier contractuel se pagine avant d'être transmis.
- Compress a PDF — Si le document signé doit tenir dans une pièce jointe.
Why it's free
Online converters receive your file on their servers, process it, then promise to delete it. Every document costs them computing time: that is why they charge, and why they cap file sizes.
Here, the work happens on your own computer. The page contains no server code: your document cannot be received, because it is never sent. So there is nothing to bill, nothing to cap, and nothing to delete afterwards. Cut your connection once the page has loaded — everything keeps working.
Frequently asked questions
Does this signature have legal value?
It is the digital equivalent of handwritten initials: widely accepted in everyday commercial exchanges, on the same footing as a scanned contract. A qualified electronic signature under eIDAS is a different thing and requires a certified provider.
Is my signature stored anywhere?
No. It is drawn in the tab, placed on the document, then gone when you close the page. Nothing is transmitted or kept.
Can I sign somewhere other than the last page?
Yes: give the page number you want, and set the position with the three lists provided.
Other tools
Edit the text in a PDF — Fix a line that is already written, even on a scanned document. This is the feature other services charge for, and the natural starting point when you need to retouch before converting.
