Sometimes only the PDF of a deck survives, or a document built for print has to go on screen. Turning each page into a slide avoids rebuilding everything, and guarantees that what shows matches the original exactly.
How it works
Drop your file on the page, or click to pick it from your folders.
Start the job. It runs inside your browser: nothing is sent to a server.
Download the result. No account, no watermark, no queue.
When this really helps
Project a document built for paper
A report, a brochure or a plan goes on screen without a redesign.
Recover a deck whose .pptx is lost
The PDF that was circulated becomes a support you can annotate and extend again.
Add slides to an existing document
The file you get is an ordinary .pptx: insert your own slides into it.
What the conversion keeps, and what it loses
Working inside a browser comes with limits a hosted service does not have. Here they are in plain words, so you know what to expect before you start.
What is kept
- The exact rendering of every page, fonts and images included
- The slide size, matched to the page
- The page order
- Colours and print quality
What is not carried over
- Editable text: every slide is an image
- Text boxes and bullet points
- Animations and transitions
- Presenter notes
Need the other direction? PowerPoint → PDF does exactly the opposite, with the same guarantees.
Worth knowing about the format
The .pptx has been PowerPoint's format since 2007. Each slide is described in XML with its shapes and images. The file produced here holds one image per slide: that is what guarantees a rendering identical to the PDF, font for font.
Not the right tool?
Why it's free
Online converters receive your file on their servers, process it, then promise to delete it. Every document costs them computing time: that is why they charge, and why they cap file sizes.
Here, the work happens on your own computer. The page contains no server code: your document cannot be received, because it is never sent. So there is nothing to bill, nothing to cap, and nothing to delete afterwards. Cut your connection once the page has loaded — everything keeps working.
Frequently asked questions
Why is the text not editable?
A PDF page has no slide structure: no title, no content placeholder. Transposing its image full-frame is the only way to stay faithful. If you want editable text, convert the PDF to Word instead.
Will it look sharp on a projector?
Pages are rendered at close to twice screen resolution, which stays crisp both projected and printed. The file is naturally heavier than the original PDF.
Can I add my own slides afterwards?
Yes. It is a plain .pptx: PowerPoint, LibreOffice Impress and Google Slides all open it and let you insert whatever you like.
Other tools
Edit the text in a PDF — Fix a line that is already written, even on a scanned document. This is the feature other services charge for, and the natural starting point when you need to retouch before converting.
